The purpose of this weekend is to provide a camping weekend where area Troops can meet and learn more about each other and the Scout Patrol Method. Through competition, Scouts will mingle with other Troops and enjoy a friendly competition while their own Troop enjoys a campout.
Troops will compete in "Scoutish Highland Games”! Each Troop should plan and bring an activity for competition and will turn in the top three "scorers" or winners for their activity to the host Troop. Keep in mind, safety and accordance with the Guide to Safe Scouting is key. We can’t toss logs, but we can toss pool noodles in a range! Have fun designing your activity to fit the theme! Your activity could be a trivia faceoff, cooking competition, art extravaganza, timed test, battle of the brain powers, head to head competition. Whatever you choose, Troops will have a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon to complete the competition. They can send one, or multiple people to compete, whatever your troop decides. The host troop will need a 1st 2nd and 3rd place from each Troop.
This form is set up to caputure information regarding
1.) Is your troop attending? If so, how many would you expect attend on a rough estimate?
2.)What activity is your troop providing as a cometition for all troops to participate in.
Please fill out the form below when your PLC has determined an activity and you can provide a rough estimate of how many people from your troop will attend.
