Seat belt in good condition and functional

3. Under the Hood
Engine oil level and condition

Transmission fluid level (if applicable)
Belts and hoses free from cracks or wear
Battery connections tight and corrosion-free
4. Dump Bed & Hydraulics
Hydraulic fluid level adequate
Lift mechanism operates smoothly
Bed raises and lowers correctly
Tailgate secure and functioning
No signs of hydraulic leaks
Safety props/latches in place if servicing raised bed
5. Brake & Suspension Check
Air brake system (if equipped) builds pressure properly
Service brakes and parking brake functional
No audible air leaks (for air brake systems)
Suspension components visually intact (leaf springs, shocks, etc.)
6. Final Operational Check
Engine starts smoothly
No unusual noises or vibrations during idle or movement
Smooth steering and maneuvering
All safety decals and placards present and legible
