    2026 ALL THAILAND GOLF TOUR QUALIFYING SCHOOL

  • 1. Introduction

    The All Thailand Golf Tour will hold a qualifying tournament for the 2026 season to provide an opportunity for golfers who do not have any membership status with the All Thailand Golf Tour to compete in tournaments of the All Thailand Golf Tour in 2026, as well as golfers who are currently members but wish to upgrade their membership status. The top 40 golfers, along with any who tie for the lowest score at the final qualifying tournament, will join Category 16 of the All Thailand Golf Tour. They will be grouped with golfers who earned their spots through the previous year's Order of Merit and others with special membership status for the 2026 season. Details on Membership Exemption Categories can be found in Appendix 1 CLICK.
    Applicants who complete the entry process correctly will be given priority consideration (applicants can choose their competition section for First Qualifying Stage). The All Thailand Golf Tour qualifying tournament is divided into two stages.

     

    Remarks: First Qualifying Stage (Section A and Section B) - Applicants may register for either Section A or Section B of the First Qualifying Stage, but not both. If the maximum number of applicants is reached before the close of entry, further entry will be accepted as reserve. The consideration will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.

  • 2. Qualifying Tournament Format

    The First Qualifying Stage will consist of 4 rounds or 72 holes, with an estimated field of approximately 120 players. There will be a cutoff after 54 holes. The best 70 and tie scorers will advance to the final round. The number of players who will advance to the Final Qualifying Stage will be announced before the start of the First Qualifying Stage. Players who are tied for the final qualifying position in the First Qualifying Stage will all advance to the Final Qualifying Stage together.

     

    If the full 4 rounds (72 holes) of the First Qualifying Stage cannot be completed, the final round will be canceled, regardless of the number of holes remaining, and the results after 54 holes will determine who advances to the Final Qualifying Stage. If 54 holes cannot be completed within the scheduled dates, the competition will be extended to complete 54 holes.

     

    If circumstances prevent further extension, the decision will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.

    Applicants who are eligible for the Final Qualifying Stage and those who made the cut from the First Qualifying Stage will compete in the Final Qualifying Stage, which consists of 4 rounds (72 holes).

    Eligibility criteria for the Final Qualifying Stage of the All Thailand Golf Tour are as follows:

    a. Those who had exempted status in 2025 (top sixty (60) of the ATGT 2024 Final Order of Merit) but did not finish in the top sixty (60) of the ATGT 2025 Final Order of Merit and lost their exempted status for 2026 (*).

    b. The ATGT Order of Merit winners from 1999 who are not otherwise exempt.

    c. The ATGT members in positions sixty-first (61st) to one-hundred-fifty (150th) on the ATGT 2025 Final Order of Merit (*).

    d. A maximum of 10 players of the ATGT tournament winners from 1999 – 2023 who are not otherwise exempt.

    e. The leading ten (10) players not otherwise exempt and within the 1,500 ranking from the 2025 Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) (As of December 8, 2025).

    f. The leading five (5) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 100 from the 2025 KPGA Tour Order of Merit (As of December 8, 2025).

    g. The leading fifteen (15) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 50 on the 2025 Thailand PGA Tour Order of Merit (As of December 8, 2025).

    h. The leading five (5) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 50 on the 2025 Asian Development Tour, India PGA Tour, Taiwan PGA Tour, China Tour, Abema TV Tour, and Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit (As of December 8, 2025).

    i. The leading two (2) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 10 on the 2025 The Singapore Professional Golfers' Association Order of Merit (As of December 8, 2025).

    j. Nominations by the Tournament Committee at their discretion.

    k. The leading ten (10) players to a limit of 300th place in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (As of December 8, 2025).

    l. Winners of the following amateur events: a) Eisenhower Cup, b) Nomura Cup, c) Asian Games, d) SEA Games, e) Putra Cup, f) Asia Pacific Amateur Championship and g) Faldo Series Asia Grand Final.

    m. The leading five (5) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 20 on the 2025 Thailand Golf Association Amateur Ranking (Central Organization SB Class) (As of December 8, 2025).

    n. The leading five (5) players not otherwise exempt and within the top 10 on the 2025 ATGT Amateur Ranking Points.

    (*)If an applicant subsequently receives exemptions for 2025, the tournament committee will cancel their qualifying round application and refund the full application fee.

    The Final Qualifying Stage will consist of four rounds, or 72 holes, with a maximum field of 132 players. After 54 holes, the top 70 players and ties will proceed to final round of the tournament. After 72 holes, the top 40 players and ties will receive membership in Category 16 of the All Thailand Golf Tour for the 2026 season.

    In the event of a tie, scores will be ranked by comparing the best results in the following order: (a) 36 holes, (b) 18 holes, (c) 9 holes, (d) 6 holes, and (e) 3 holes.

    If a tie persists, the results from the final round will be reviewed starting from the 18th hole and counting backward until a winner is determined. If there is still a tie, a hole-by-hole play-off will be used to determine the winner.

    If the full 4 rounds (72 holes) of the Final Qualifying Stage cannot be completed, the final round will be canceled regardless of the number of holes remaining, and the results after 54 holes will be used to determine the qualifiers. If 54 holes cannot be completed within the scheduled dates, the competition will be extended to complete 54 holes.

    If further extension is not possible due to circumstances, the decision will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.

  • 3. Entry Fee

    The entry fee is 18,000 baht, which is a one-time payment covering both stages of the competition (First Qualifying and Final Qualifying). This fee does not include the annual membership fee for the All Thailand Golf Tour for the 2026 season. The annual membership fee must be paid before the start of the 2026 season (see General Policy 10 (c)). Payment can only be made exclusively through the ATGT Player Portal.

  • 4. Eligibility of Applicants

    The following individuals are eligible to enter the Qualifying Tournament

    (A)   Golfers who are at least 13 years old but will only be eligible to compete in the all Thailand Golf Tour 2026 if they are 14 years old before or on the Monday of the week of competition, or as determined by the Tournament Committee.

    (B)    Professional male golfers.

    (C)    Amateur male golfers with a handicap index of 5 or less, supported by a handicapping certificate from an accepted national governing body. The handicapping certificate must not be expired.

    NOTICE TO AMATEURS: It is not in itself a breach of the Rules of Amateur Status for an amateur golfer under the jurisdiction of R & A Rules Ltd to file an entry for and play in any stage of the Q-School, provided that the player waives his right to prize money prior to each Stage by completing the appropriate forms available on site at each venue.

    However, if an amateur participates in the Q-School for the first time as a professional and is unsuccessful, he may wish to apply for reinstatement as an amateur. Such an application for reinstatement may receive sympathetic consideration by the governing body of amateur golfers in such golfer’s home country, and the amateur may be reinstated three months after the infringement of the Rules, provided participation in the Q-School is the amateur’s only breach of the Rules of Amateur Status (Decision 9-2b/3).

  • 5.Member Seminar

    Member seminar is MANDATORY for all members who compete in the Final Qualifying Stage. Players must participate in the seminar that cover golf rules and regulations, competition requirements, membership agreement terms, and other relevant topics. Failure to attend the seminar will result in the all Thailand Golf Tour Qualifying Tournament 2026 being considered incomplete.

    -     For players who complete in the morning session of first round.

    -     Seminar will start one hour after the last group in the morning session finished

    -     Players who finish in the afternoon session will attend the seminar on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

    Wednesday, December 24, 2025

    -     For players who complete in the morning session of second round.

    -     Seminar will start one hour after the last group in the morning session finished

     

  • 6. Ceremony for Category 16 Membership Recipients

    The ceremony to congratulate those who qualify for Category 16 membership is MANDATORY for the top 40 finishers and ties. Participants must attend the ceremony dressed in golf attire, including long pants and sneakers. Failure to attend the ceremony will result in the all Thailand Golf Tour Qualifying Tournament 2026 being considered incomplete.

    Ceremony Schedule: Friday, December 26, 2025, after the competition

    Note: The schedule may be subject to change at the discretion of the Tournament Organizing Committee. Please plan your travel accordingly.

  • 7. Withdrawal and Refund Policy

    First Qualifying Stage (Section A): Withdrawal deadline is Monday, September 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM Thailand time.

    First Qualifying Stage (Section B): Withdrawal deadline is Monday, November 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM Thailand time.

    Final Qualifying Stage: Withdrawal deadline is Monday, December 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM Thailand time.

    (A)   If a player wants to withdraw before the specified deadline, they must do so through the ATGT Player Portal system only.

    (B)   If a player wishes to withdraw after the specified deadline, they must send a written request via email to q-school@allthailandgolftour.com only.

    (C)   Conditions for a refund in case of withdrawal:

    I.          If a player withdraws before the deadline, they will receive refund of 16,200 THB.

    II.        If a player withdraws after the deadline due to health reasons with a medical certificate or other reasonable grounds as determined by the Tournament Committee, they will receive a refund of 14,400 THB.

    III.       If a player withdraws after the deadline without a valid reason, they will receive a refund of 9,000 THB.

    IV.       If a player fails to appear at the starting tee time without prior notification to the officials, they will not be eligible for any refund.

    V.        Once a player has started competing, no refunds will be issued.

    VI.       Golfers who register for the qualifying stage before the announcement of the final ATGT Order of Merit for 2025 and subsequently rank within the top 1-80 on the 2024 money list will receive a full refund if they choose to withdraw.

    VII.     If an amateur golfer's handicap certificate is later found to be inaccurate (e.g., handicap exceeds 5 or does not meet the entry criteria), the entry will be voided, and the Tournament Committee will refund 16,200 THB.

  • 8. How to Pay the Entry Fee via the ATGT Player Portal

    1) Apply for the tournament through the Online Application at the website https://bit.ly/2026-atgt-qschool-form

    2) After submitting the application form, applicants will receive an email from ATGT Player Portal within 48 hours.

    3) Log in to the ATGT Player Portal and create an account and password.

    4)  Go to the Transaction menu to pay the entry fee,

    5) After paying the entry fee, a confirmation email will be sent. Your entry will be considered complete only after receiving this confirmation.

  • 9. Entry Confirmation

    Application is confirmed once the player has paid the entry fee through the ATGT Player Portal and received a confirmation email.

  • 10. General Policies

    (A)     The ATGT reserves the right to change or amend the above format, conditions, schedule of play, and also to reject application forms at any time.  Conduct unbecoming of a professional or non-competitive performance records can be a basis for the rejection of applications.

    (B)    The undersigned hereby applies to enter the 2026 ATGT Q-School only.  Although membership in the ATGT is based principally on this competition, the ATGT reserves the right to enforce other reasonable criteria (including, but not limited to, character, conduct, financial responsibility, etc.) to all applicants for membership.  The ATGT, in its sole discretion, shall determine whether to accept any membership application without assigning any reason for its decision.

    (C)    Membership Fee: all Thailand Golf Tour members, including new and ordinary members, must pay an annual membership fee of THB 3,500 prior to the start of the season, or THB 2,500 for players ranked 19-24 before their first tournament.

    (D)    Accident Insurance: It is the responsibility of each player to have accident insurance that covers death, disability, and recommends personal liability insurance for damages caused to third parties or incidents that may occur during competition, with a minimum coverage of THB 1 million.

    (E)     Indemnification: The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold all Thailand Golf Tour harmless from any liability, claims, losses, costs, damages, or expenses resulting from violations of rules, negligence, intentional misconduct, or unlawful acts by the applicant.

    (F)     Waiver of Liability: The applicant understands the risks associated with playing golf and agrees that all Thailand Golf Tour shall not be liable for any death, bodily injury, or property damage suffered by the applicant during the qualifying rounds.

  • 11. Golf Club and Ball Specifications

    (A) List of Conforming Driver Heads. 
    Model Local Rule G-1 is in effect.
    Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.

    (B) Groove and Punch Mark Specifications.
    Model Local Rule G-2 is in effect.
    Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.

    (C) List of Conforming Balls.
    Model Local Rule G-3 is in effect.
    Penalty for breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.

    (D) One Ball Rule.
    Model Local Rule G-4 is in effect.
    Penalty for making a stroke at a ball in breach of this Local Rule: One stroke penalty for each hole during which they are in breach of this local rule.
    If a player discovers they have played a ball in breach of this local rule, they must revert to using a ball of the same brand and model as used at the start of the round when they play from the next teeing area, otherwise the player is disqualified.

    (E) Replacing of Club that is Broken or Significantly Damaged.
    Model Local Rule G-9.
    "Rule 4.1a(2)" is modified in this way:
    Rule 4.1a(2) applies except that a club that is damaged by the player or their caddie during the round (including while play is stopped under Rule 5.7a) may only be replaced if it is “broken or significantly damaged”
    A club is “broken or significantly damaged” when:

    • The shaft breaks into pieces, splinters or is bent (but not when the shaft is only dented)
    • The club face impact area is visibly deformed (but not when the club face is only scratched or cracked)
    • The clubhead is visibly and significantly deformed (but not when the clubhead is only cracked)
    • The clubhead is detached or loose from the shaft, or
    • The grip is loose.

    (F) 46-inches Club Length Limitation.
    Model Local Rule G-10 is in effect.
    Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.

  • 12. Tournament Notes

    (A)     Professional Golfer Conduct: Participants must behave appropriately and adhere to the etiquette expected of professional golfers.

    (B)    Appearance: Players must maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times, including clothing and hairstyle, in accordance with tour regulations while performing as a professional golfer on the course or when participating in any events.

    Wearing shorts is only allowed during practice rounds. Shorts should be knee-length and in solid colors. Players are prohibited from wearing jeans and collarless t-shirts during practice or any competition rounds. Additionally, players must follow the specific dress code of the course.

    (C)    Photo Shoot for All Golfers: A photo shoot will be conducted for all golfers competing in the qualifying round at the following times and dates:

    Qualifying Round 1 (Section A):
    October 6-8, 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00, Thailand

    First Qualifying Round (Section B):
    November 24-26, 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00, Thailand


    Final Qualifying Round:
    December 22-24, 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00, Thailand

    Please dress in your competition attire, including your hat, on the day of the photo shoot. (Golfers are not allowed to wear t-shirts, shorts, jeans, corduroy pants, or sandals.)

    (D)    The use of distance measuring devices (Rule 4.3a) is permitted during the competition.
    During a round, a player may obtain distance information using an electronic distance measuring device (slope function must be disabled)
