The First Qualifying Stage will consist of 4 rounds or 72 holes, with an estimated field of approximately 120 players. There will be a cutoff after 54 holes. The best 70 and tie scorers will advance to the final round. The number of players who will advance to the Final Qualifying Stage will be announced before the start of the First Qualifying Stage. Players who are tied for the final qualifying position in the First Qualifying Stage will all advance to the Final Qualifying Stage together.
If the full 4 rounds (72 holes) of the First Qualifying Stage cannot be completed, the final round will be canceled, regardless of the number of holes remaining, and the results after 54 holes will determine who advances to the Final Qualifying Stage. If 54 holes cannot be completed within the scheduled dates, the competition will be extended to complete 54 holes.
If circumstances prevent further extension, the decision will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.
