This is to be used to nominate someone for either the Music Edcucator Award or Musician Educator Award
Music Educator Award

This award is designated for teachers and educational facilitators going above and beyond to promote musical arts in the education curriculum.

The award is given to an individual based on the following attributes:
- Makes contributions that directly benefit youth through music in the North Alabama area
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to facilitate music education for all, through advocacy in both school and community settings.
- Facilitates the advancement of music education through personal achievements
- Demonstrates leadership and actively promotes music education and its significance to providing a healthy learning experience
Musician Educator Award

This award is designated for area musicians contributing to music education initiatives benefiting North Alabama youth.

The award is given to an individual based on the following attributes:

Functions as a consistent and positive role model through community engagement.
- Exhibits qualities of vision, perseverance and leadership for music education
- Demonstrates an exemplary level of musical competency
- Works or has worked to create an image of music that is appealing and inspiring to area youth
- Promotes positive and respectful interactions among youth as a model for the school community at large
- Creates an inclusive learning environment in which all students are valued and can experience success
