Time Capsule Project: Video & Photo Sessions Appointment for Sun 26 OCT & Thurs 30 OCT

VIDEO PURPOSE

You will create a 60-second video message for future generations of Filipina women leaders. You'll be speaking directly to the camera without an interviewer. Your goal is to share wisdom, inspiration, and insights from your leadership journey. This is your Legacy Statement.

LOGISTICS

This is a complimentary session as part of your All-Access Summit Registration so FWN can continue to build its Time Capsule for Global FWN100™ Awardees.

1.     VENUE: The Argonaut, the official FWN Hotel. Please make sure you’re booked at the FWN official hotel.

2.     Schedule your video session for 26 OCT SUNDAY, 1-5 PM. Reserve your appointment below.

• There are 5-minute-appointments. First registered for the summit, first served.
• 3.     Please re-confirm your time slot appointment when you pick up your Summit Credentials on 26 OCT at the FWN Filipina Summit Registration Desk (check registration times).

4.     Provide FWN Registration Staff with your local cell phone and your hotel room number at The Argonaut, the official FWN Hotel.

• If you are a no-show, FWN will bill you for the photographer's fees.
• If you are late, FWN will try to rebook if an appointment slot is available, but there are no guarantees.
• Appointments are 5-minute slots.
• Please arrive “camera-ready” (make-up and hair ready).  

6.     What to Wear

• Please wear an outfit representing your profession or industry (chef, military uniform, lab coat, judge’s robes, sports, art performance (ballet outfit), etc.).
• You may also choose to wear a Filipino outfit.
• Please do not wear dangling earrings or neckpieces that may interfere with the audio recording device. Avoid wearing white or anything reflective.

7.     During the videotaping:

• Sit straight, shoulders back, head up, hands on your lap.
• You will be taped from the chest up and seated. 

VIDEO STRUCTURE (60 seconds total)

1. Introduction (10-15 seconds)

Begin by stating: "My name is [Full Name], [Job Title] at [Company/Organization] in [City, Country]. As a Global FWN100™ Awardee [indicate year], here's my message to future Filipina leaders."

2. Main Message (35-40 seconds)

Choose ONE of the following topics and answer its corresponding questions:

A. FWN Memory: Reaction when you received your FWN Award

• THAT moment when you realized the power of the FWN network, when you felt the impact of your award, when you connected with a fellow Filipina woman leader who changed your perspective, or when you participated in our groundbreaking productions of The Vagina Monologues from 2004-2025.

B. Career Journey

• "What was the pivotal moment that shaped my career?"
• "How did I overcome the biggest challenge in my professional life?"

Sample start: "The turning point in my career came when..." 

C. Leadership Wisdom

• "What's the most important leadership lesson I've learned?"
• "How can future leaders prepare for global challenges?"

Sample start: "If there's one leadership advice I can share, it's..."

D. Uplifting Filipina Women

• "How can we create more opportunities for Filipina women in leadership?"
• "What unique strengths do Filipina women bring to global leadership?"

Sample start: "To empower more Filipina women in leadership roles, we must..."

E. Vision for the Future

• "What changes do I hope to see for Filipina leaders in the next 25 years?"
• "How can future leaders build on our current progress?"

Sample start: "My vision for Filipina leadership in 2050 is..."

3. Closing Inspiration (10-15 seconds)

End with a powerful message to future leaders.

Sample: "To the Filipina leaders of tomorrow: Remember that your voice matters. Your heritage is your strength. Lead with courage, compassion, and conviction. The future is yours to shape."

PHOTO PURPOSE

The Photo Time Capsule Session is for FWN to document your professional headshots and formal outfits worn at the Awards Gala the year you receive your award.

Logistics

This is a complimentary session as part of your All-Access Summit Registration, so FWN can continue to build its Time Capsule for Global FWN100™ Awardees. 

A.    VENUE: Constellation Room @ the Argonaut Hotel, the official FWN Hotel. Please make sure you’re booked at the FWN official hotel. FWN’s Room Block at rates expires on 16 SEPT 2025. After this date, rooms will be subject to availability but not guaranteed at the FWN special rate.

B. Photo Coordinator Volunteer will coordinate the photo schedule.

C.     Two photo sessions:

• Photo Session #1: OCT 26, Sunday, 1-4:30 PM: Awardees ONLY
  
  • We will take individual headshots and group shots.
  • Those with reservations will assemble as a group. 
  • EXTRA THIS YEAR: We have a modeling instructor who trains beauty pageant candidates, who will show us how to pose for photos and how to walk.
  • Simultaneously, those who made appointments will be photographed.
  • We will also take group shots and have FUN!
  • Please reconfirm your time slot appointment when you pick up your Summit Credentials on 26 OCT at the FWN Filipina Summit Registration Desk (check registration times).

• Photo Session #2: OCT 30, Thursday @ The Julia Morgan Ballroom, 4:30-5:30 PM, before the Awards Gala: Awardees ONLY
  • 4PM: Cable Cars will take you from the Argonaut Hotel to the Julia Morgan Ballroom at the Merchants Exchange Building if you are staying at the hotel and registered for Full Access.

2.     Photo Session #2: OCT 30, Thursday @ The Julia Morgan Ballroom before the Awards Gala.

• Formal outfit, long gown, worn at the Awards Gala
• Please ensure you are holding your printed name card on the first shot. This helps FWN Volunteers and Staff identify your photos on the FWN Photo Gallery.
