Culture Lab LIC is a vibrant nonprofit arts center on the Long Island City waterfront.
Our home features four unique performance spaces—each with its own programming focus and atmosphere—ranging from intimate listening rooms to large-scale outdoor concert stages. Together, they create a dynamic platform for artists across genres to share their work.

Outdoor Summer Concert Series : LIVE in the Lot!
Presented Saturdays and Sundays, May - October this concert series places bands on our 20 foot outdoor stage with the Manhattan skyline framing the band.
Sound Engineer - provided
Backline - provides many backline items.
Pay - a base pay of $50 per musician (up to $250 total). In addition to this base pay, Culture Lab staff/volunteers collect additional tips from the audience via square tap and cash bucket. Bands are also allowed to tastefully display their own methods for tipping.
Merch - Bands can sell merchandise if they provide their own payment collection method. Bands keep 100% off all of their merch sales.
Sunset Jazz - Indoor Friday Nights
A jazz night music series taking place on Fridays on Culture Lab’s front gallery stage.
Concerts begin at 8PM and run until 10PM.
No cover but RSVP Eventbrite offered for each band to share with their community.

Pay - Featured bands/artists will receive a base stipend of $50 per musician (up to four musicians - i.e. $200 maximum total) and can keep all additional tips made during the evening.
Merch - Bands can sell merchandise if they provide their own payment collection method. Bands keep 100% off all of their merch sales.
