Supplies & Tips
- Spray paint is most popular; plan for 2–3 cans for a base coat (more if using white). Spray paint dries quickly compared to latex.
- For detailed designs: use craft paint, foam brushes, or stencils.
- Cover the surrounding ground with old linens/tarps.
- Recycle empty cans off school property.
Weather & Painting Options
- Rock can be towel-dried; paint adheres even in rain or snow.
If you prefer not to paint in bad weather, choose another available date.
- GVA-DC/PIC does not provide painting services for families. You may hire someone to do so.
