We are excited for another year of pack walks! We have had so much success with these - doggos have more confidence joining a pack and humans can make connections.... a win win! Angela Cotton with Cottonball Canines (dog trainer) will also be joining our pack walk for any questions and any additional help! This will be at the Prairie Island Nature Loop Trail (next to the old deer park). There is a gravel parking lot, porta potty & garbage! Try to arrive a little early to get acclimated to the area, potty breaks, get yourself and dog(s) situated, etc.
Feel free to bring any treats/toys for your dog while on the pack walk if they need it, along with water. We will have some water available. This trail usually takes about an 45 mins depending on if we need stops. After a little ground rules before we start, we plan to start walking around 11:05 and should end no later than 12:00/12:10PM.
This will be our usual free pack walk (no training.) For this pack walk we will simply line up and walk the trail! Pack in, pack out - please remember to pick up your dogs waste or any garage you may have during the trail. We are excited to hopefully see some new faces along with familiar ones!
