Applying for Christmas Assistance from Sub for Santa is now a TWO STEP PROCESS. This application is for us to check your eligibility for Cache County Sub for Santa. If you are eligible and provide all requested information, you will be sent a link to fill out a FINAL application. Approval for an eligibility application does not guarantee you a spot in our program. 

The eligibility application closes at 10 PM on Saturday November 8th. Final applications are due by 10 PM on Monday November 10, 2025. There will be no deadline extension this year.

All applications are first come, first served and can be closed when our program is full, even if it is before the deadline.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Fill out all sections of the eligibility application completely by the deadline. Press submit at the end. The application must be filled out COMPLETELY to be considered. You will get an email confirmation when you submit your application, please check for that before you call us.

Within 48 hours of submitting the eligibility application, you will get one of the following three responses: 

1. "You qualify and your application is complete, here is a link to fill out the final application for Sub for Santa." You must complete the second application to be approved for assistance from Sub for Santa.
2. "Your application is incomplete." We will tell you what your application was missing. We will not follow up with you as we have in years past. You will need to fill out a new eligibility application that is complete to be considered for our program. 
3. "You do not qualify for our program." This is a rejection for our program and you will not be served by Cache County Sub for Santa.  

ALL COMMUNICATION ABOUT OUR PROGRAM WILL BE DONE THROUGH EMAIL!

Please double check your email address before submitting and remember to check your email regularly. All emails will have Sub for Santa in the subject line. 

Here are some common reasons your eligibility application may be rejected: 

• You did not provide proof of income for you and/or your spouse.
• You indicated you had income but did not provide any proof or explanation.
• Your pay stubs were not from the past three months.
• You did not upload proof of residency or the item you provided did not have a date.
• You did not upload ID. This needs to be a photo with a name. It does not have to be a US document.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

1. We serve children 24 months to 18 years who are living in your household. We will also accept children under 24 months if there are older siblings on the application. If you are pregnant and due before December 31, 2025 you may list that child on the application, however gifts will not be guaranteed for unborn children.

2. Individuals must be currently living in Cache County, Utah.

3. You must have legal, full time custody of the children.

4. GROSS monthly income from ALL sources (this includes your employment, spouse's employment, unemployment, child support, disability, etc.) must be at or below the amounts listed below for your household size. Amounts are based on 138% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

5. You must not be receiving Christmas assistance from a separate agency or organization.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance.
2. If resources are limited, applicants will be accepted into the program on a first come, first served basis.
3. Eligibility applications are due by NOVEMBER 8 at 10 PM or when our program is full. THERE WILL BE NO DEADLINE EXTENSION.
4. The following actions will result in permanent disqualification from Cache County Sub for Santa: 
   -- Providing false Statements or information on any communication with Cache County Sub for Santa. 
   -- Receiving assistance from multiple Christmas agencies. If you apply with other agencies and are accepted with Sub for Santa, we expect you to revoke your application with the other agency and inform both parties
   -- Returning or selling items received by Cache County Sub for Santa for profit (exchanges for different colors/sizing or similar items is ok).
   -- Disrespectful behavior toward staff or volunteers.
   -- Reaching out to any staff or volunteer at their home email, phone, or address.
   -- Failure to pick up your gifts from the program.
   -- Failure to maintain an email and phone number for us to reach you regarding program information.
5. By submitting this application, you agree to and understand the following conditions: 
   -- I give permission for my family to be considered for eligibility for the Cache County Sub for Santa Christmas program. Including verifying the accuracy of all information provided.
   -- I agree that I will not participate in multiple Christmas Assistance programs.
   -- I give permission for the Sub for Santa program to share minimal information with volunteers, sponsors, and other charitable organizations. Otherwise any information you provide will remain confidential.
   -- You understand that it is YOUR responsibility to double check your email for accuracy on applications and to regularly check your email during the program (October through December). If we cannot reach you, you will be dropped from the program. 
   -- You understand that it is your responsibility to inform Cache County Sub for Santa of a new email address, address and/or phone number.
   -- You attest that the information provided on any application or communication with Cache County Sub for Santa is true and correct to the best of your knowledge.
