How To Take Care a Mum

Water daily or every other day since pots dry out quickly. Water at the soil line, not over the flowers.
Remove dead blooms (deadheading) to encourage fresh buds.
Keep them cool (ideally 60–70°F). They last longer outside on a porch than indoors in a hot room.
After blooming: You can plant them outside in the ground before the first frost if you want them to return next year.
