  • The Family Giving Award is presented to a Girl Scout family for their significant contributions of time, skills, effort, and resources to Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas over a 3 year period.

    • All adult family members must be active, registered Girl Scout members, and have an approved Criminal Background Check on file. 
    • All girl family members must be current Girl Scouts. 
    • You may not nominate yourself for this award. 

    This award can be received every three years by an active Girl Scout family.

    This detailed information is necessary in order for the volunteer committee (who does not know the nominee) to determine if the nominee meets the requirements to receive the award.

    Be sure to include dates and the number of girls and adults served through their service. Be specific with the information provided, For Example: if they hosted a Service Unit event for World Thinking Day, including when it was held and the number of girls that participated.

    A lack of specific information will keep the nominee from receiving this award.
