Foster-Finder Program Application

By participating in the Foster-Finder Program, you agree to the following:

· I agree to keep the Kittens/Cats indoors at all times.

· I agree to bring animals for meet and greets or health appointments.

· I understand I will be required to bring Kittens/Puppies to bi-weekly vet appointments as scheduled by HATS.

· I agree to stay in regular contact (weekly or bi-weekly) with the HATS foster coordinator.

· I understand that this is a temporary foster arrangement until space becomes available at the HATS facility.

· I understand that HATS is now the owner of the animal. 

HATS handles all adoptions for animals in this program, including adoptions by the foster caregiver. Please acknowledge the following:

· I understand that any adoptions must go through HATS's official adoption application process, including for myself as the foster

· If I wish to adopt one of the Animals in my care, I understand I will be expected to meet the same adoption standards as any other applicant, including:

  - All other pets in the home UTD on vaccines and spayed or neutered. 
  - Seeking regular veterinary care after adoption, including yearly wellness exams
  - Keeping the cat(s) indoors full-time
  - Never declawing

 

· I agree to notify HATS if I receive interest from others in adopting the animal so that proper procedures can be followed

We understand that sometimes fosters develop a strong bond with the animals in their care. If you wish to adopt one of the kittens, you’re more than welcome to apply. In doing so, we ask that you commit to the same standards we expect of all adopters — ensuring a lifetime of care and wellbeing for the pet.
