About the In-Person Class!

This class is for the Beginner Cookier—the one ready to go from “The Fate of Ophelia” (a little unsure, maybe overwhelmed) to decorating in your kitchen with confidence! Or maybe you're just curious about what cookie decorating is all about—welcome to your next “Elizabeth Taylor” level glow-up! If you’ve had limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing (don’t worry—no need to hit “CANCELLED!!”), or if you’re trying to “Actually Romantic” your way to holiday success this Christmas, this is the class for you! We’re baking a fun summer-themed set that tastes “Honey” sweet and will look even better once you're done—because these creations are truly “Wi$h Li$t” worthy.

We provide everything you will need: cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home—like a backstage pass to “The Life of a Showgirl” (complete with Sabrina Carpenter level glam). We just need YOU!

This class is on SEPTEMBER 30 AT 5:30PM so we’ll have plenty of time to decorate and ask questions along the way with a 1.5hr class. Come alone (your spotlight moment), bring your best friend (it’s more fun when you “Ruin the Friendship” with sugar—jk!), or bring the family—we have seating for up to 10! It's a “Wood”-n’t you want to join? moment whether you're coming solo or with your entourage.

This class is great for ages 12+. Want to leave the kiddos at home? Make sure to order an add-on kit with your registration—they’re perfect for teaching “Eldest Daughter” energy at home. Plus, we’ll send you the class PowerPoint so you can be the cookie tutor yourself—no need to call “Father Figure” or anyone else!

Note - if you don't cancel before 7 days, you can give your ticket to a friend to attend in your place. Unfortunately after 7 days, no refunds and no credits are offered. But you can have someone else attend! 

🗓️ If need to cancel 7+ days before class:

If you can't make it because plans changed or if you’re sick prior to the 7-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! And might we say thank you for sittin' this one out. To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps. You can also email us at hello@sugarcookieclasses.com.

 🗓️ If need to cancel 6 days before class starts:

No sweat - life happens - you can transfer your ticket! Email us at hello@sugarcookiemarketing.com, and we'll pass your ticket onto your friend. That will also apply to a DIY Kit if you purchased one as well.

 🚗 You can't make it the day of class, and you've email before class starts:

Car troubles? Traffic? Email us before your class's start time. While we can't offer a refund or a credit, we can box up your class supplies and schedule a time for you to porch pick-up the box to decorate at home within 5 days of the end of class. Note - we can't guarantee freshness for unsealed class cookies.

 📨 You don't show up or email prior to class:

If you do not request a refund 7 days prior to class, we won’t be able to offer you a refund, credit, or porch pick-up. 😞 So please reach out to us before your class starts!

✌️ You purchased BOTH a Class Take-Home Kit and a Class Ticket and need to cancel:

If you purchased both a class ticket and a take-home kit and emailed prior to the 7-day refund policy, we'll be happy to offer you a full refund. If it's after the 7-day cut-off, you can transfer your ticket and your DIY kit to a friend. If we don't hear from ya, the left-over product will be donated.

Things to Note!

 

⚠️🥚 Allergens: Eggs, gluten, and nuts are present in the kitchen used to bake these cookies and icing. Please consider your allergies before registering.

🧀 Say Cheese! Photos are taken throughout class (and posted to our Facebook page so you can see them too). Camera shy? 📸 No sweat! Just let us know it's a camera no-no.

❄ If We Cancel Class: In the event of inclement weather or if an instructor has car issues (blaming you, I95), you'll receive a GIANT apology and a full refund regardless of the cut-off time for refunds. Weather events are called on a case-by-case basis, but know we'll reach out to keep you updated if Mother Nature is havin' a bad morning.
