(MAA) Girls Youth Basketball 2026/2027 Player Registration

All families must complete player registration.

Registration opens on September 1st and closes on October 3rd. The registration fee is $190. Each player will receive a jersey, and a team t-shirt.

 
MAA girls youth basketball program particpates in the Monrovia Parks and Recreation league. Each team will play approximately 10 regular season games followed by a post season tournament.

 
Practices will tentatively start in early October. All practices and game schedules will be sent out by coaches at a later date once teams have been formed.

Goal Height:

8 foot: 6G (1st - 3rd grade)

10 foot: 10G & 12G (4th, 5th, 6th)

 
Ball Size:

28.5 for all grades

Waiver/Disclaimer

I, the parent/guardian of the above mentioned individual, acknowledge that participation in athletic events involves risk of physical injuries and or illness (e.g., communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19). In consideration for accepting the registration of the above named individual and permitting the voluntary participation of said individual in a Monrovia Parks & Recreation Associations (MRPA) Sports Program, Mustang Athletic Association (MAA), or any other league the above named individual may participate in, I hereby release and discharge and hold harmless MRPA and/or MAA, it’s volunteers and all other representatives of this association from any claims arising out of or relating to any injury or illness that may result to said individual during any MRPA and/or MAA sponsored event, including any injuries or illness caused by negligence of any official, referee, coach, MRPA and/or MAA volunteer or representative while performing his/her duties during any practices, games or transporting of individuals to and from MRPA and/or MAA events and practices. I acknowledge that I am aware that there are risks to me of exposure to directly or indirectly arising out of, contributed to, by, or resulting from an outbreak of any and all communicable disease, including but not limited to, the virus “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and/or any mutation or variation thereof. I further agree to return, upon request, all program supplied equipment in the same condition as received, with exception of any wear experienced through normal use. The insurance provided by each program is a secondary policy when you have any other medical or accident insurance but will be treated as primary coverage if the above individual is not otherwise covered. Moneys paid at registration will not be refunded unless the individual does not meet the qualifications of the program(s) he/she is
registering for.

Refund Policy
By checking "I Agree" below and submitting this form, you, the Parent/Guardian of the above Player, acknowledge and agree to the Refund Policy. Unless it is a special circumstance approved by MAA Youth Basketball there will be no refunds of registration fees. Approved refunds will be a partial amount of the registration fee and will be determined on a case-by-case basis. A player is not eligible for a refund once practices start.
