WAIVER OF LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I understand that participation in the First Responder Tug of War Showdown event organized by The Quincy Museum involves physical activity and inherent risks. I confirm that all team members are at least 18 years of age or older (or if under age 18 have acquired parental consent) and are physically capable of participating without medical restrictions. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to hold liable The Quincy Museum, its officers, employees, volunteers, or agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury including death that may be sustained by myself or any member of my team during the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

INCLEMENT WEATHER/EVENT CANCELLATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: In the event of inclement weather, including but not limited to severe thunderstorms (excluding light rain), lightning, severe wind, hail, or excessive cold/heat advisories as issued by the National Weather Service, The Quincy Museum reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event if its officials deem there is substantial risk to participant safety. Participants will be notified via their preferred contact method. No refunds will be issued for registration fees, if applicable, in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather. The Quincy Museum is not responsible for any costs incurred by participants due to cancellation or postponement.
