Requirements for Volunteering:
- Must be 21+ unless approved prior to the event (HalloWine and Burgers, Bourbon & Beer have opportunities for those under 21).
- Be able to work in all elements
- Be able to stand and/or active for extended periods of time
- Be willing to tackle any task needed/assigned
- Adhere to policies and procedures of Culinaria and happy to be volunteering!

What do I wear for my volunteer shift(s)?

For each of the events, business casual with comfortable shoes is the best approach. Please know that many of our events are outside, so, any heels are best left at home. For the Hallowine Run, athletic attire or a Halloween costume are appropriate.

Any changes from previous volunteer experiences?

Please note that we are adapting our policies to other large format events; Large bags and backpacks are not allowed. Bags must either be clear or no larger than 4.5” or 6.5.”

What are the perks of volunteering?

Our hope is that you volunteer to do good for your community. Each event of Culinaria is to promote San Antonio as a destination for premier wine and food, meaning we have many visitors that attend our events to enjoy our dining and beverage options. And we rely on volunteers to help us make this possible! In addition, during the events, we hope that you can enjoy a break so that you might experience the food and beverages featured at the events.

What should I not do at the Culinaria events?

Volunteers should not drink behind the tables, it is illegal to do so while serving alcoholic beverages; volunteers should also not leave with alcohol, unless permission is granted by the Culinaria.
I, the undersigned, agree and understand that I assume full liability for any injury, damage, accident or irregularity with respect to my person or property occasioned by any cause whatsoever arising out of or about my activities while participating as a volunteer during Culinaria. I hereby release Culinaria and its officers, employees, agents, both in their official and individual capacities from any actions, causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs and expenses because or in any way growing out of all loss of personal property or injury as the result of any accident or irregularity while volunteering my services.
