The International Driver's Document issued by ITAC is an official translation of a national or domestic driver's license. You are not permitted to present ITAC as the main document because it is only a translation of your original driver's license. This ITAC International Driver's License, however, is valid only with the original, domestic driver's license, which must be currently valid and not expired or suspended.
The ITAC International Driver’s Permit is a legal translation of a current valid Driver’s License, based on the UN standards on Road and Traffic Resolution.
I also give my consent for the ITAC to print my International Driver License Doucument .if necessary, and I agree to accept ALL financial responsibility for the costs related expense.
Your ITAC International Driver's License MUST be accompanied at all times by your original valid driver's license. You are not allowed to present International Driver License as the main document because it is only a translation of your original driver's license. ITAC International Driver License is not a substitute of an official driver's license, as well as expired or revoked driver's license. If you hold a U.S. driver's license, you must use U.S. driver's license while driving in the U.S. territories. Note: The Convention was prepared and opened for signature by the United Nations Conference on Road and Motor Transport held at Geneva from 23 August to 19 September 1949. It was convened by the Secretary-General of the United Nations pursuant to resolution 147 B (VII)2 of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, adopted on 28 August 1948. The Conference also prepared and opened for signature the Protocol concerning countries or territories at present occupied and the Protocol on Road Signs and Signals and reached certain other decisions which are recorded in the Final Act of the Conference.
