      Please select the appropriate course, based on your needs listed on your graduation checklist. 9th grade ELA, Science, Math and Social Studies are courses required for graduation and all 9th grade students are automatically enrolled in these courses. PE and Health are also required and best taken during the 9th grade year to allow for more options in future grades. Graduation requirements needed for each core subject area: ELA- 4.0, Social Studies - 3.0, Math - 3.0, Science - 3.0, PE - 1.5, Health - .5

      Please select one of the following courses based on your college, career or personal interest. You need 1.0 credits of CTE for graduation. If you are pursuing a specific CTE pathway, please make sure to choose the next advanced course in the pathway sequence. (note: make sure to complete this section. If left blank, counselors will choose for you based on availability)
    • World Language Electives 
    • Instructions

      Please select the appropriate courses based on your needs listed on your graduation checklist. If you've already taken a World Language class, select the next course in the sequence. (example: if you took Spanish 1A last year, select Spanish 2A) You need 2.0 credits of World Language for graduation. These are year-long courses, so you will automatically be enrolled into the B section for 2nd semester. (note: Make sure to complete selections for this section. If left blank, your counselor will choose for you based on availability)
    • Fine Arts Electives

      Please select the appropriate course based on college, career or personal interest. You need 2.0 of Fine Arts Credits for graduation. Make sure to complete this section. If left blank, your counselor will choose for you based on availability.
    • Alternate Electives 
    • This sections allows you to choose an alternate elective, if your first choice is not available. Make sure you choose a DIFFERENT option than what you chose for your first choice. Choosing the same option will not better your chances for being placed in that class. Duplicates will be considered blanks and your counselor will choose a course for you based on availability. 

    • Power Up!

      Every year we partner with community organization, The Good Foot , for their 9th grade Summer Transition program. This is a great opportunity to get acclimated to the building, make new friends and take part in great activities that will prepare you for high school! You also earn .5 high school elective credit for your participation. This program will take place July 7 - August 2.
