A Player Card is your child’s official profile for Dr. Motivate 7‑on‑7. It verifies age, eligibility, and participation, ensuring fairness across all teams. The card includes a player photo, grade level, and team affiliation, and is required for all athletes to compete in league events.

 

How to Get a Player Card:

 

• Visit Zorts Sports.

• Log into or create your parent account.

• Select Player Card and follow the prompts to upload your child’s photo and details.

• Complete payment online.

• Once approved, the card will be linked to Dr. Motivate 7‑on‑7, making your athlete eligible for games and tournaments.

🛡️ Background Checks (For Coaches & Volunteers)

 

To keep our league safe and transparent, all coaches and volunteers must complete a background check through Zorts Sports. This ensures every adult working with athletes meets league standards for safety and integrity.

 

How to Submit a Background Check:

 

• Go to Zorts Sports.

• Log into or create your account.

• Navigate to the Background Check section.

• Fill out the required information and submit online.

• Pay the processing fee directly through Zorts.

• Once approved, your background check will be linked to Dr. Motivate 7‑on‑7, confirming your eligibility to coach or volunteer.

 

**RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AUTHORIZATION, AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AGREEMENT**

I, the undersigned, being the parent, volunteer, or participant involved in the Dr Motivate LLC youth sports or summer program project (the “Project”), or being the legal guardian of such a participant in the Project, in consideration of my or another’s participation in the Project, hereby release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dr Motivate LLC, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, invitees, and affiliates (“Dr Motivate LLC Group”) from and against all liability, claims, losses, damages, punitive damages, costs, expenses, attorney's fees, demands, suits, and causes of action of every kind and character arising in favor of myself, my child, or participant in the Project or anyone claiming thereunder for personal injury, death, or property damage in any way incident to or arising out of participation in activities associated with the Project, regardless of and expressly including the sole, joint, or concurrent negligence, gross negligence, statutory fault, or negligence per se of any party, including the members of the Dr Motivate LLC Group.

I (authorized person signing), hereby grant and authorize the Dr Motivate LLC Group the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of me or the program participant(s) for legally promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, fundraising letters, flyers, posters, brochures, submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites, annual reports, press kits, and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other considerations. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or hereafter devised. This authorization shall continue indefinitely unless I otherwise revoke said authorization in writing. If revoked, no pictures from the day of notice moving forward will be used. Pictures taken prior to notice will not be subject to removal.

All intellectual property created by or for any executive, board, coaching, staff, or volunteer person or persons under the auspices, on behalf, in conjunction, and/or for the benefit of Dr Motivate LLC, its officers, existing, proposed, and future teams and participants shall be the property of Dr Motivate LLC and its affiliates from the time of creation and in perpetuity. Any designs must receive approval from Dr. Donald Brown prior to creation at 832-264-0122.

Player Equipment

• Helmets: Soft shell helmets mandatory (except QBs). Must be strapped and worn with mouthpieces.
• Mouthguards: Mandatory at all times.
• QB Exception: If QB is unhelmeted or unstrapped, they cannot pursue defenders after an interception.

Officials & Game Management

• Each game has up to 2 volunteer coach referees. 
• Volunteer Coach Referees enforce 4‑second throw clock, 25‑second play clock, and scoring. Scoring is written on the game score card and given to the scorekeeper for game entry
• Final rulings rest with Dr. Motivate LLC officials, whose decisions are final and binding.

Coaches

• Maximum of 3 coaches on the sideline.
• One offensive coach may enter the huddle but must remain 5 yards behind QB before snap.
• Defensive coaches are not allowed on the field.
• Coaches are responsible for teaching rules and modeling conduct.
• Dr. Donald Brown (CEO of Dr. Motivate LLC) and program officials reserve full authority to remove or suspend any coach at their sole discretion if such action is deemed necessary for the safety, well‑being, or positive environment of the program. All decisions are final and binding.

Game Play Mechanics

• Field length: 50 yards, 40+ yards wide, 10‑yard end zones.
• Teams must start on time; late arrivals may result in point penalties or forfeits.
• Offense may run the ball except inside the 10‑yard line.
• QB may scramble but cannot cross LOS.
• Trick plays (reverses, hook‑and‑ladders) are prohibited.
• One blitz allowed per game.
• No blocking or punting.
• Fighting, excessive force, or unsportsmanlike conduct = immediate ejection.

Penalties

• Offense: Off‑sides, delay of game, illegal formation, pass interference, excessive celebration = loss of down or yardage penalties.
• Defense: Off‑sides, holding, pass interference, excessive contact, taunting = yardage penalties or automatic first down.
• Unsportsmanlike Conduct: May result in ejection, suspension, or ban.
