  • Contact information

  • Eligibility

  • Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center complies with the requirements of the Indian Arts & Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) which makes it illegal to market an art or craft item in a manner that falsely suggests it is Indian-produced. Under the Act, an Indian is defined as a member of any federally or officially State recognized Indian tribe, or an individual certified as an Indian by an Indian Tribe.

  • Submission of Tribal Affiliation

    This field is required
  • Artists must submit one of the following:

A copy of a tribal enrollment/status card. Verification of only degree of Indian blood is not acceptable.

A copy of a letter from your tribe or agency on official letterhead and signed by a senior tribal official or enrollment specialist clearly verifying your enrollment.

The IACB Act allows a non-enrolled Indian artist to be certified, in writing on tribal stationary, by the tribe of their decent as an "Indian artisan" of that tribe's descent. A copy of that certification is acceptable.

*Artists from Canadian First Nations, Inuit, Metis, US federally recognized and/or US state recognized nations are encouraged to apply. We follow the guidelines of the 1990 Indian Arts and Crafts Board Act.
