Orion Art Center – Artists Holiday Market Guidelines
To ensure a professional experience, all participating artists must follow these rules. Non-compliance may result in artwork being refused.

Open Mediums: All media welcome.
Copyright: Respect all copyright laws.
Artwork Specifications
Size Limits:
- 2D: Maximum 48” W x 48” H
- 3D: Maximum 36” circumference x 60” H
All items must be original, handmade, or artist-designed. No mass-produced, commercially manufactured, or resale items are permitted.
Artists are responsible for pricing their own work.
All work must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment. No artwork substitutions or early withdrawals. All entries will be reviewed for compliance. Final inclusion is at the sole discretion of Holly Nicosia, Executive Director of the Orion Art Center (non-negotiable).
Content Restrictions: Submissions with explicit, discriminatory, or violent themes may be declined.
Logistics & Responsibilities
Artwork is left at the artist’s risk. The Orion Art Center is not liable for damage or loss but will take reasonable precautions.
Artists are responsible for transporting their work to and from OAC.
Artwork must be picked up within 14 days after the exhibit closes or it becomes OAC property (unless otherwise arranged).
Sales
All works must be labeled with the price and artist name.
A 30% commission is retained by OAC on all sales; artists receive 70%.
Sales forms must be signed upon drop-off.
Payments will be processed 45–60 days after the market closes.
Labeling Requirements: Each artist must email a digital list of the items being dropped off (including item name, artist name, and price). Items not labeled correctly may be removed. Artists will be given an artist ID upon acceptance for tracking.
Entry Fee & Volunteering
There is no entry fee for this market.
Artists must volunteer for a minimum of one (1) 3.5-hour shift on designated Friday evenings or Saturdays. A sign-up sheet will be sent to all accepted artists.
Exceptions are limited and must be approved in advance by Holly or Shelby.

Market Dates: November 29 – December 20, 2025
Market Hours: Fridays & Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 29 at 11AM (market will be open from 10am to 7pm; reception begins at 11AM and ends at 1PM)
Entry Deadline: October 31, 2025
Drop-Off Dates:
November 15: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
November 20 & 21: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

December 21: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
December 22: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
