At Breastcancer.org, we often hear how much nurses mean to people going through breast cancer. It’s the nurse who often explains the diagnosis and treatments to you in simple language, helps manage your side effects, offers you reassurance, and connects you with the care you need. Nurses are also a source of emotional support and frequently serve as the link between their patients, doctors, and other parts of the hospital care team.
We’d love to hear about your experiences so we can share it with the nursing community and highlight how their work makes a difference.
