Terms and Conditions – Amateur Group (Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni)
Tuition
Tuition is due on the first day of each month from September through June. For participants who will not attend in the month of June, there will be a fixed fee of $20 per participant for that month.
Payments
Tuition is due on the 5th day of each month. Payment may be made by check, cash, cashier’s check, money order, or PayPal. There will be a $25 service charge for any returned checks. If more than one check is returned during the year, check payments will no longer be accepted.
Attendance Policy
Steady attendance is essential for progress and group unity. Irregular attendance can lead to reassignment of level or dismissal from the program.
All participants (or guardians, in the case of minors) are responsible for communicating absences directly to the instructor.
Tuition must be paid for all registered classes, even if absent.
Any planned changes in attendance must be discussed with the instructor at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the month.
Closures
The Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni will be closed on official holidays, major religious holidays, and in the event of inclement weather. Participants will be notified of closures by the instructor. Make-up classes are not required for cancellations due to inclement weather, and no refunds will be given for these closures.
Participation
Members of the amateur group are expected to participate in all scheduled performances and cultural events throughout the year, including but not limited to community events, cultural festivals, and end-of-year concerts. Performance schedules are announced as early as possible, and members are expected to prioritize these events.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to maintain respectful and cooperative behavior during classes and rehearsals. This includes:
No side conversations or disruptive behavior during instruction
No cell phone use during class/rehearsals
Respect for instructors, peers, and cultural traditions
Instructors reserve the right to dismiss any participant for misconduct. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Studio Rules for Participants
No running, yelling, or rough play in the rehearsal space.
Keep rehearsal areas clean and tidy. Dispose of trash properly.
No gossip, obscene language, or inappropriate conversations.
No gum, food, or drink (except water) in rehearsal areas.
Instruments and equipment must be handled with care and respect.
Dress Code Requirements
Participants should wear modest, comfortable clothing suitable for rehearsals.
Specific performance attire will be communicated in advance depending on the event.
Waiver of Liability
I expressly waive and discharge all claims and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni from any injuries incurred during classes, rehearsals, or performances.
I understand that registration, tuition, and other applicable fees must be paid in full, and I will remain responsible for all fees until written notice of withdrawal is received, in accordance with Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni policies.
Disputing a charge through a financial institution will be considered a breach of contract and may result in penalties, fees, collection action, legal proceedings, and/or termination of services.
Media & Medical Authorization
I acknowledge that due to the nature of group activities, Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni, its officers, staff, and contractors cannot be held liable for injuries that may occur in facilities used for classes, rehearsals, or performances. I waive all claims and release the Center and its representatives from liability.
In case of illness or accident, I authorize the Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni and its representatives to seek appropriate medical care. I accept full financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
I also authorize the videotaping, photography, and audio recording of myself (or my child) during rehearsals and performances. These materials may be used for educational, promotional, and cultural purposes by the Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni without further consent. All such materials will remain the sole property of the Center.
