Audition Notice: “Annie”
Encore Theatrical Company is thrilled to announce auditions for the beloved family musical “Annie”! We invite performers of all ages to join us for this heartwarming and timeless show. All roles are open.

• Tuesday, September 30, 6:00–9:00 PM
• Thursday, October 2, 6:00–9:00 PM

Audition Requirements:
• Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song in the style of the show.
• Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.
• Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required.
• Callback music will be sent via email to all who register. Please be prepared to sing selections from the show if asked. You may also be asked to read from the script.
• A dance call will be part of this audition process. Please wear or bring clothes and shoes you can move in.
Character Breakdown:
Annie – A spunky, optimistic 11-year-old orphan with a big voice and bigger heart.
Gender: Female | Age: 11 (must be able to play young)
Vocal Range: A3–G5
Oliver Warbucks – A powerful billionaire who becomes Annie’s guardian. Gruff but kind at heart.
Gender: Male | Age: 40–60
Vocal Range: B3–D5
Grace Farrell – Warbucks’ warm, intelligent secretary who cares deeply for Annie.
Gender: Female | Age: 25–35
Vocal Range: B3–G5
Miss Hannigan – The irritable, scheming head of the orphanage.
Gender: Female | Age: 30–50

Rooster Hannigan – Miss Hannigan’s underhanded brother with charm and schemes.

Lily St. Regis – Rooster’s ditsy, comedic partner-in-crime.

The Orphans – Spirited and lively girls living in Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.

Ensemble – Servants, cabinet members, New Yorkers, and others who bring Annie’s world to life.
