ABOUT ME
Thank you for reaching out to us at Juan Haka Tattoo!. I am thrilled about the opportunity to work with you. Tattooing isn't just my job—it's my greatest passion. I infuse every piece with intention, care, and a wealth of experience, ensuring each tattoo is executed with exceptional expertise. I am originally from Medellin, Colombia. In 2024, I moved to the U.S. to explore new opportunities and continue evolving as an artist. With over 16 years of tattooing experience, I have had the privilege of working in more than 30 countries around the world. I specialize in black and grey realism, portraiture, and above all, surrealism—my true signature style. Right now, I’m traveling and immersing myself in the culture and art across the United States, tattooing in different states and cities along the way.
Before booking, here are a few important things to know about my work:
👉🏽 I tattoo in black and grey, not color. 👉🏽 Cover-up projects are taken on a case-by-case basis. 👉🏽 Portrait projects require multiple clear reference photos, if possible. 👉🏽 I primarily work on large-scale pieces in back-to-back sessions. 👉🏽 Sessions last 6-7 hours (not including break times). 👉🏽 I am open to smaller projects as well.
Please Note:
🚫 I do not tattoo private areas. 🚫 I do not accept hateful or discriminatory imagery.
Pricing:
💵 Full-day session: $2000. 💵 Smaller tattoos: $300/hour. 💵 A $500 deposit or retainer fee is required to confirm your appointment for each day reserved. This amount goes toward the total cost of your project. Deposits/retainer fees are non-refundable.
Keep in mind:
💡Larger projects — like arm/leg sleeves, back pieces, or torso work — require multiple sessions. 💡 The number of sessions will vary depending on the size, level of detail, your pain tolerance, and other factors.
Design
✏️ The design process begins once the deposit is received and the appointment(s) are booked. ✏️ Designs are not shared prior to the appointment day. ✏️ Any adjustments or modifications can be made on the day of the session, and that time is included at no additional cost.
Consultations
🗣️ Consultations are completely free. 🗣️Consultations can take place via email, phone, in person, or FaceTime.
