VolCon Speaker Application Form
Speaker Applications are now open for VolCon 2026, India’s premier national conference on volunteering. VolCon 2026 will be held on January 29-30, 2026, at the Bangalore International Centre, Bengaluru, India.

We would love to invite potential speakers/session facilitators from diverse backgrounds (urban, grassroots organisations, self-led initiatives and tier 2 cities and towns)

Note:

Applicants may propose sessions or workshops aligning with the Main theme of VolCon 2026: Global Goals, Local Actions: Volunteers Making It Happen as 2026 is the International Year of Volunteering for Sustainable Development.
Selected facilitators will receive complimentary VolCon tickets. However, travel and accommodation expenses for speakers from outside Bengaluru will need to be self-funded.

Who Should Apply?
We encourage applications from individuals meeting any of the following criteria:

1. Those who engaged a minimum of 100 volunteers in 2024-25 or led significant volunteering initiatives.
2. Individuals who contributed to volunteering projects were sharply aligned with the SDGs
3. Young Changemakers/ Leaders who have introduced innovative models of volunteer mobilisation, community engagement, or impact measurement.
4. Leaders advancing inclusive volunteering — supporting participation of persons with disabilities, seniors, rural communities, homemakers, etc.
5. Researchers who have published work on volunteering in India, whether primary or secondary research.

Applicants who can adhere to deadlines, participate in dry runs, and prepare impactful sessions for conference delegates.

Definition of Volunteering: Volunteering refers to activities that benefit others outside your immediate circle (family/friends) without any monetary or honorary compensation.

Timelines:
Speakers are selected on a rolling basis, as soon as applications are received. So, apply quickly!
