This is the space to express your interest in participating in The Reliable Narrator - an 11-week creative journey for seven participants who are reshaping the stories of their childhood through performance.
  • The intention of this workshop is to create a safe, collaborative space where participants can engage deeply with their lived experiences, discovering new ways to voice, embody, and re-imagine them. The desired outcome is an original ensemble performance, and also a strengthened sense of agency, creative confidence, and a connection to self and community.

The Reliable Narrator weaves together three modalities — writing, movement and dance, and voice work — each guided by an experienced facilitator.

Sessions move fluidly between individual exploration and ensemble collaboration, balancing reflection with artistic risk-taking. Grounded in the Work That Reconnects framework and supported by somatic practice, participants are invited to experiment with text, body, and voice as vehicles for story.

Over the course of weekly sessions (two in-person, one online), participants will generate, shape, and rehearse performance material that culminates in a three-day showcase in November 2025.

The workshop is being co-facilitated in Hyderabad, India by Gopika Jairam, Harsha Maheshwari and Shayontoni Ghosh.

Once we receive your application, we will be in touch within 24 hours to schedule a video call with our facilitators. The purpose of the call is to check in together, answer any questions, and ensure you’ll feel supported in the process.
