Please read our points of unity below. By filling out this form, you are affirming that you have read our points of unity and that you will answer each question contained in this form truthfully. None of the information you share with us will be made public or shared externally without your explicit and informed consent.

1. Prioritize the Vision of a Free Palestine:
(a) I affirm a one-state solution for a free Palestine with Al-Quds as the capital city.
(b) I commit to the vision of freedom for everyone, Jewish and Palestinian, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, with equal rights for all.
(c) Support for the right of return for all Palestinian refugees and Palestinians in exile to their ancestral homeland.

2. Centering the Movement in Organization Spaces:
(a) I will emphasize the movement for Palestinian liberation above the individual.
(b) I will prioritize the collective struggle in our spaces.

3. Cooperation, Intent, and Safety:
(a) I will work cooperatively and intentionally with fellow SJP organizers.
(b) I will prioritize safety and reject perpetuation of harm.
(c) I will avoid engaging with detractors and/or counter-protestors of the Palestinian cause without prior planning, anticipation, and coordination.
(d) I will respect privacy by not disclosing the identity of anyone in our organization with those outside without their explicit and informed consent.
(e) I will respect privacy by not showing a person's face on social media without their explicit and informed consent.
(f) We do not tolerate abusers or those who disrespect consent in our spaces.

4. Opposition to Bigotry in All Forms:
(a) We stand in firm opposition to all forms of bigotry, including discrimination based on race, complexion, religion, gender, sexual orientation, class, age, ability, or ethnicity.
(b) We uphold an inclusive and respectful environment within the organization.

What is Membership in SJP?

SJP members are expected to consistently dedicate at least two hours a week (one of those hours being a meeting) to the planning and implementation of actions that move us towards a free Palestine.

You DO NOT need to be a member to attend our events or protests! If membership is too big a commitment, please don't be discouraged from attending and participating in any of our actions! Follow our Instagram to keep up with upcoming actions.
