Why do we dream? What’s the psychology behind procrastination? Why are first impressions important? Interested in exploring these questions and improving your research and writing skills in a fun way? Welcome to the Psychology Gazette, an ECA dedicated to diving into the fascinating world of psychology beyond your GCSE/A-level topics! Whether you’re a psychology enthusiast or simply curious about the human mind, this is the perfect space for you. We invite everyone to contribute articles on topics of interest, including a diversity of voices and ideas. The goal is to release a monthly e-magazine featuring the best articles, artwork, quizzes, and more! Additionally, this ECA promotes a student-run environment, encouraging members to take on roles such as president, illustrator, and editor, with roles changing each term. We meet every Monday during lunch, where students from years 9-11 can collaborate and share their passion for psychology. It’s also a great way to get a taste of what A-level psychology may offer! Please fill out this form if you would like to attend our first meeting on Monday Lunch in SG7 (September 7th). For any questions, feel free to email me (Miss Grobe) at egrobe@dbis.edu.hk.
