  • Port to Port Ellen - Opening a rare bottle, for a rare cause

  • Thank you for entering the auction to reserve one of only 15 spaces the Port to Port Ellen evening and whisky tasting, on Wednesday November 19th 2025 at a 'To be revealed' location in Edinburgh from 8pm to 10pm. 

    This tasting will give a nod and cheers to 200 years of the iconic Port Ellen distillery on Islay, with a tasting of the rare and fabled Port Ellen 1979 22 year old, first release, hosted by Fraser Campbell with special guest, award-winning whisky writer, Dave Broom.  

    To enter the auction to reserve your space to sample this rare & fabled Port Ellen release, simply make your donation below (minimum £50) following the instructions. At the close of entries (September 30th, 2025), the 15 highest value verified donations will be selected and notified by email by October 7th, 2025. 

    100% of the entry donations will go directly to The MacLean Brothers - Rowing for Clean Water, celebrating their achivement of rowing 9000 miles unsupported, across the pacific ocean in their goal to raise £1 million for clean water in Madagascar.

  • Port to Port Ellen Whisky Tasting – Terms & Conditions

    1. Eligibility
    Entrants must be of legal drinking age in the UK (18+) at the time of the event.

    By submitting an entry, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

    2. Entries & Donations
    Each entry is for one individual only.

    To enter, participants must make a minimum £50 donation directly to The MacLean Brothers – Rowing for Clean Water fundraising page.

    A valid entry requires both a donation and submission of proof of donation via the entry form.

    3. Selection of Guests
    At the close of entries (September 30th, 2025), the 15 highest value verified donations will be selected.

    In the case of tied donations, priority will be given to the earlier submission timestamp. Successful entrants will be notified by email and provided with event details.

    4. Event Details
    Date: Wednesday, November 19th, 2025

    Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm

    Location: Secret Edinburgh venue (to be revealed to winners by email)

    5. Conditions of Attendance
    Attendance is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products.

    Proof of age (photo ID) may be required at the event.

    The hosts and organisers reserve the right to refuse entry if conditions are not met.

    6. Liability
    The organisers accept no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or any costs incurred by attendees.

    Attendees are reminded to drink responsibly.

    Personal details collected will only be used for the purposes of administering this event and will not be shared with third parties.
