Program Overview

The Volunteer Industry Exposure Program is designed to help participants connect with industry, build professional contacts, and experience Australian workplaces in a safe and supportive environment. This is not paid employment — it’s a learning-focused pathway that strengthens your awareness, confidence, and career readiness.

🕒 Duration & Commitment

Length: Up to 3 months

Hours: Around 10 hours per week (1–2 days, based on your schedule and host availability)

Format: Voluntary, observation-based industry exposure

⚙️ How It Works

Submit your application and pay the $95 enrolment fee.

SkillReady verifies your eligibility and explores opportunities with verified host businesses.

If suitable placements arise, SkillReady assists with introductions and host coordination.

Complete insurance, induction, and compliance steps.

Once a host confirms, pay the remaining $1,500 program fee — total: $1,595.

Voluntary and unpaid program.

CRICOS enrolment and valid visa required.

WHS Induction & Quiz required before placement.

Internship insurance included in total fee (via Aon).

$95 enrolment is non-refundable.

$1,500 program fee applies only once confirmed.
