Please Read Before Booking Notary Services
By engaging with these notary services, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below. These policies are designed to ensure transparency, protect your privacy, and clarify the scope of services provided. Please review them carefully before your appointment.
Disclaimer: Not a Legal Advisor
As a commissioned Notary Public in Minnesota, I am authorized to perform notarial acts. However, I am not an attorney and therefore cannot offer legal advice, draft legal documents, or interpret the legal significance of any paperwork or transaction. If you need legal guidance or have questions about your documents, please consult a licensed attorney or the party who prepared them.
Identification Requirements
To ensure proper notarization and compliance with Minnesota state law, all signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of their appointment. This step helps verify identity and protect the integrity of your documents. Please have your ID ready—thank you for helping keep the process smooth and secure.
Accuracy of Information
Signers are responsible for ensuring that all information in their documents is accurate and complete prior to notarization. As a Notary Public, I do not review or verify the content of the documents and am not responsible for their accuracy or legal sufficiency. My role is to confirm identity and witness the signing—not to assess or interpret the material presented.
Travel Fees & Additional Expenses
Mobile convenience is part of my service—but please note that travel fees and other related expenses may apply in addition to standard notarization rates. For full transparency, I encourage you to review the fee schedule for details on mileage charges, extended travel zones, or special requests. If you're outside my standard service area, I’m happy to discuss options that work for both of us.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To respect everyone’s time and ensure smooth scheduling, please submit any cancellation or rescheduling requests as early as possible. Certain fees may be non-refundable, especially if services have already been provided or costs incurred—such as processing fees or payments made to third-party vendors. I’m always happy to work with you to find a solution that fits your needs while honoring the time and resources involved.
No Guarantee of Document Acceptance
Notarization confirms the identity of the signer and their willingness to sign the document. It does not guarantee that the document will be accepted by any particular organization, institution, or authority. Additionally, notarization does not validate the legality, accuracy, or enforceability of the document’s content. For questions about acceptance or legal implications, please consult the receiving party or a qualified attorney.
Pricing Adjustments
I strive to keep all pricing accurate and up to date. However, fees and service offerings may occasionally be adjusted in response to market changes or unforeseen circumstances. Should any updates occur, I’ll make every effort to communicate them in advance so you’re never caught off guard. Your trust and clarity matter to me.
Notarial Errors
I adhere to the highest standards of notarial practice to ensure accuracy and professionalism. In the rare event that a notarial error occurs, I will make every reasonable effort to correct the issue promptly. However, I am not liable for any damages resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the signer. My role is to verify identity and witness the signing—not to validate the content of the documents.
Confidentiality & Privacy
Your privacy matters. I’m committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and safeguarding all personal information shared during the notarization process. All services are conducted in compliance with applicable laws regarding record keeping and information disclosure. You can trust that your documents and details are handled with care, discretion, and professionalism.
Acceptance of Terms
By requesting or receiving notary services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this disclaimer. This includes policies related to identification, fees, document responsibility, and service limitations. Transparency and mutual understanding help ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone involved.
