Idaho Career Technical Education Foundation Anne Veseth Continuing Post Secondary Memorial Scholarship 2026 Application

This $2,500 scholarship was established to encourage Idaho students pursuing first certificates or degrees in career technical education (CTE) at Idaho technical colleges. This is a competitive scholarship available to students who are currently enrolled in an approved Idaho CTE program at the post secondary level.
Please Note: In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must be currently enrolled full time and have already attended at least one semester in an approved Idaho CTE program at the post secondary level.
Application Deadline is Friday, April 17, 2026

Important: The scholarship application must be submitted electronically. No paper copies will be accepted. Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.

This is a competitive scholarship; applications are scored based on quality of responses.

This scholarship is provided through the Idaho Career Technical Education Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization. There are no Idaho State funds used. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, or genetic information.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, all applicants must:

- Be a legal resident of the state of Idaho.

- Have graduated from an accredited Idaho public or private high school or equivalent.

- Have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher during attendance at postsecondary school.

- Be currently enrolled as a full-time student, as defined by the school, in a CTE program at an approved technical college in Idaho, pursuing an undergraduate course of study leading to a first degree, technical certificate or another approved award.

**If awarded this scholarship, the funds must be used towards tuition, fees, books, equipment/tools and other expenses related directly to the instructional program at an approved Idaho college.

***Funds of this scholarship will be sent directly to the instituion to be placed on the student account.

It is expected that candidates will submit their own work.

This is an acknowledgement that students will complete the application on their own. Any application containing responses found to not be the applying student's original work will be disqualified.

While AI assistance in starting the application is allowed, the student’s “voice” must still be apparent. Evidence of too much reliance on AI, such as “fill-in-the-blank” prompts, formatting errors due to “cut-and-paste”, etc, will result in the application being rejected.
