Nominations are called for the Michelle Grose Scholarship available to female identifying students studying a course related to the civil construction industry at TAFE or University level.

CCF SA Women in Civil

The Women in Civil committee has a positive and inspirational focus on Women in the Civil Construction Industry, embodied by our commitment to Motivate, Celebrate and Connect women in the industry, from workers on the ground to leadership and management. We want to celebrate their achievements and contributions to the industry, and also to encourage women to join the industry. Activities designed to meet their obligations include support, mentoring, information and networking opportunities for women working across the civil construction industry.

Michelle Grose Scholarship Details

Payment Type: Cash

Value: $1,000

Value Unit: Scholarship, Student will be given the opportunity to gain paid vacation work with a WiC partner for the FY25/26 Summer holiday period

Basis of Award:

Female Identifying Student

Must be in second, third or fourth year of study

Eligibility: The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses and/or general living expenses

Nationality: Working rights in Australia

Study Area: Civil Construction Industry Related Course of Diploma or Undergraduate Degree

Vacation Works Start Date: 1/11/2025

Vacation Works End Date: 1/02/2026
