  • ALBA Travel Awards to FENS Forum 2026

  • The ALBA Network is offering travel awards for early-career researchers in the brain sciences to participate in the next edition of the FENS Forum, taking place from 6-10 July 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. 

    These grants are supported by the Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation (CHS). They are available to active scientists from any background who are in the early stages of their career, defined as final year PhD or MD students (including those expecting to graduate by July 2026) or researchers within ten years of obtaining their most recent professional degree (PhD or MD). Eligibility extends to individuals who identify with one or more underrepresented groups as defined by ALBA.

    Nominations must be submitted through this online form by 21 October 2025 (17:00 CET) at the latest.

    Please note that you will only be eligible if you are an ALBA Network member at the time of the application. If you don't know whether you are an ALBA member, please check whether you appear in our directory. If you are not a member, you can register for free using this form.
