The Florida Youth Foundation's Bike Program provides free or subsidized bicycles to low-income workers in Daytona Beach, Florida, helping them commute safely, affordably, and sustainably.

The BIKE FOR WORKERS program is committed to serving individuals who genuinely need transportation support to maintain or seek employment. To ensure fairness and integrity, we reserve the right to decline any applicant who does not meet our eligibility criteria or whose information cannot be verified.

✅ Employment verification is required. ✅ Bikes will only be distributed once all documentation is confirmed.

Due to overwhelming demand, the current turnaround time for receiving a bike through the BIKES FOR WORKERS program is approximately two weeks.

We understand how important transportation is for daily work, and we're working hard to process applications and distribute bikes as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to serve more workers every day.

You are Required to have a Vest and Helmet at the time of Pick Up ( We Do not Provide Them)
To ensure that bikes are distributed to those who truly need them, all applicants must provide the following documentation:

✅ A valid Florida State ID
✅ A Job Offer Letter or Employment Verification Letter
These documents are mandatory and not optional. Without both, we will not be able to proceed with your application.

Loan Agreement Terms

By submitting this form, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms of the BIKES FOR WORKERS program:

The bicycle provided is loaned, not sold or purchased.

You are responsible for returning the bike in the same condition in which it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.

The Youth Foundation is not liable for any accidents, traffic violations, tickets, or incidents involving lost or stolen bicycles.

Each loaned bike is issued for a maximum of 90 days, and participants may receive a bike once per calendar year.

These terms help us maintain fairness and accountability, ensuring that more workers can benefit from the program.
