Call for Artists: Livingston County CARES Awards – Commissioned Artwork
The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) is seeking two artists to create original artwork for the inaugural Livingston County CARES Awards.

This initiative is a collaboration between GVCA, Livingston County CARES, the Livingston County Board of Supervisors, SUNY Geneseo, and the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce. The awards will honor outstanding volunteerism in Livingston County, recognizing individuals and groups who selflessly serve their communities.

Project Details:
Event: 2nd Annual Livingston County CARES Awards
Purpose: Celebrate volunteers making a significant impact in Livingston County.
From community nominations, six finalists will be selected, with one named Volunteer of the Year.

Artist 1: Create one unique artwork for the Volunteer of the Year recipient.
Artist 2: Create six works, each awarded to the top six finalists.
Compensation
Each selected artist will receive a $500 commission.
