Liability Disclaimer – Property Hazards:
I understand that the parking lot, entrance, ramp, and floors at Vintage Salon LLC may have hazards (ice, snow, water, or other conditions). While the salon makes reasonable efforts to maintain safety, I enter and use the property at my own risk. Vintage Salon LLC, its owners, and stylists are not liable for injuries from slips, trips, or falls. This applies to myself, my family, and any guests I bring.

Payment Policy:

Payment due at time of service.
Cash, card, and checks accepted.
Returned checks: $75 fee, balance must be paid before rebooking.
Card on file may be required for balances/fees. Clients with cards on file, agree to allow VS to process your CC for fees and services rendered.

Gift Certificates:

Valid only for listed stylist, hair services only, no product.
Vintage Salon not responsible and cannot honor for gift certificates purchased from independent stylists that booth rent past or present.
No cash value; tampering voids certificate.
Lost/stolen/unused certificates not replaced.

Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy

Cancellations: A 48-hour notice is required for all cancellations or changes.

Late Cancellations: Less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the service cost.

No-Shows: Charged 100% of the service cost. Future bookings require a card on file, and balances must be paid before rebooking.

Late Arrivals: Please call if you’re running late. Your stylist may need to shorten or decline services. Additional fees may apply.

Outstanding balances: No services until balance is paid.

Facial Waxing Services Disclaimer

Vintage Salon provides professional waxing services using clean, single-use applicators and proper sanitation.

Before Waxing: Inform your stylist of any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, etc.). Even if you’ve had waxing before without issue, irritation or allergic reactions may occur.

During Waxing: The area will be cleansed, wax applied, and post-wax solution used. Tweezing may be performed for shaping and may cause minor irritation.
After Waxing: Temporary redness, swelling, or discomfort is common. More severe side effects (ingrown hairs, burns, scarring) are rare but possible, especially with sensitive or over-exfoliated skin.

By receiving this service, I acknowledge these risks and release Vintage Salon LLC and my stylist from liability for any reactions or injuries.

Chemical Services Consent

I understand that chemical services — including but not limited to perms, bleach, and hair color — involve inherent risks. These may include irritation, allergic reactions, breakage, scalp sensitivity, or unpredictable results.

I acknowledge that it is essential and I agree to inform my stylist of any previous chemical processes, including professional services, over-the-counter products, or henna, as these may affect the outcome or cause an unexpected reaction.

Risks & Reactions

I understand that even if I have received chemical services in the past without issue, an adverse reaction can still occur at any time.

Stylist & Salon Liability

I accept that results may vary, and that Vintage Salon LLC and my stylist are not liable for any undesired or adverse results.

I further acknowledge that recommended professional products may improve the health and longevity of my hair and results, but are optional. Opened products are non-refundable.

I further acknowledge that all services are non-refundable. If I have any concerns regarding chemical services rendered, I agree to notify my stylist within 12 days and allow them the opportunity to make corrections if necessary.

Children at Vintage Salon

We adore our little ones as clients and love helping them feel special in the salon chair! ✨

If children arrive as guests of a client, we kindly ask that they remain supervised at all times so they stay safe and all of our guests can enjoy a relaxing experience.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s behavior and any damages to salon property.

Please park one car per space.
No parking on the sidewalk, in front of the building, or Mechanic Street.
Extra parking is available on Washington Street.

Vintage Salon is not responsible for vehicles or belongings.
