Henry was diagnosed with high-risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia and autoimmune hepatitis on December 17th,2024. Due to Henry's diagnosis being high risk, his best chance at life is to undergo a bone marrow transplant. Henry started chemotherapy right when he was diagnosed; however, it has been hard to treat, and he now faces limited treatment options. His diagnosis changed to refractory AML after a bone marrow biopsy showed his condition progressing. Standard chemotherapy is not working. He is facing a treatment that's stronger and has more life-threatening side effects, as well as a chance that his cancer does not have a cure. His parents have chosen to undergo more treatment, holding on to the hope that this will put him in remission to undergo the BMT.
His family appreciates everyone’s prayers. And it warms their hearts to know that he has a whole army supporting him. Henry’s strength and resilience have been a constant source of inspiration to everyone who knows him. His family is so grateful for all of you who are walking alongside them during this time. Your love, encouragement, and prayers have been a lifeline. Your contribution and prayers would be used for transportation, lodging, food, bills, etc., giving them the time to focus on what’s most important, Henry.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, compassion, and for helping Henry and his family through this.
