• Applications for primary candidates are closed.  Applications for additional candidates will close in August 2026.

CONDITIONS AND EXPECTIATIONS

1. I understand that this application is only to be accepted as Additional Candidate (B-candidate) for the Freedom Front Plus for the 2026 Municipal Elections.
   
   
2. I understand that the respective Provincial Executive must first approve this application and if for whatever reason it is rejected, I will have seven (7) days after being notified to lodge an appeal with the Executive Management whose decision is final.
   
   
3. I understand that if I am accepted as a Additional Candidate the Party has the right to place me in any ward in the municipality where ther is no candidate and it does not automatically mean that I will be the ward candidate for my preferred ward.
   
   
4. If I am accepted as Additional Candidate it will be expected of me to be an active (paid up) member of the Party.
   
   
5. I understand that as Alternative Candidate I will not have to go throught the adjudication  and democratic process and I will be placed after those candidates who has gone through the process on the proportional list.
   
   

DECLARATION OF LOYALTY

I hereby declare that I am availing myself to stand as a candidate for the VF Plus in the 2026 Municipal Elections.

I hereby, undertake that if I should be accepted as candidate for the VF Plus and should I be elected to serve on any municipal structure, that I would adhere to the following:

1. I commit out of my free will my undivided loyalty to the Freedom Front Plus and will adhere to and comply with all the responsibilities associated with being a member of the Party as stipulated in the Party's Constitution.
2. I subject myself to the Code of Conduct for Members, the Code of Conduct for Office Bearers, the authority and disciplinary code of the Freedom Front Plus as containted in the Party's Constitution.
3. I will not become a member of any political party or of a politically inclined organisastion which is deemed by the Federal Council of the Freedom Front Plus to be in conflict with the VF Plus principles or interest.
4. I will contribute financially, from my compensation as being an elected VF Plus respresentive, to the Party as determined by the Federal Council of the Party. In my first full month as Councillor I will pay 20% (twenty percent) of my first gross monthly salary to the Party. I will also monthly, via debit order, pay an amount of 2,5% (two and a half percent) of my monthly gross salary I receive from the Council, to the VF Plus.
5. I undertake that should I not comply with the above I will without delay resign form my post/office in which I have been elected on Local Government level and that my membership of the VF Plus may be terminated, if I fail to do so.

3. I accept that if any information provided is false it would disqualify me as a candidate and that my membership with the Freedom Front Plus will immediately be terminated.
   
   
4. I also consent that the information provided herein may be verified and I give permission that the Freedom Front Plus may check my credit record, any debt judgments and criminal record.
   
   
5. I voluntarily submit myself to the screening process of the Freedom Front Plus.
