1. I understand that this application is only to be accepted as Potential Candidate for the Freedom Front Plus for the 2026/2027 Municipal Elections.
   
   
2. I understand that the respective Regional or Provincial Executive must first approve this application and if for whatever reason it is rejected, I will have seven (7) days after being notified to lodge an appeal with the Executive Management whose decision is final.
   
   
3. I understand that if I am accepted as a Potential Candidate it does not automatically mean that I will be the ward candidate for my preferred ward.
   
   
4. If I am accepted as Potential Candidate it will be expected of me to:
   • Be an active (paid up) member of the Party;
   • Be a member of the branch in the ward where I live;
   • If there is not a branch in the ward where I live, to establish a legal branch within 60 days;
   • To do canvassing for the Party; &
   • To actively participate in the Party's election programme and activities in the municipality where I live.
   
   
5. I understand that my work as Potential Candidate will be adjudicated and together with a written test, interview and democratic process it will determine my ward candidacy and placement on the proportional list.

2. I hereby declare that there is nothing in accordance with the Consitution of South-Africa (Act 108 of 1996) that prohibites me from standind as a candidate for local government..
   
   
3. I accept that if any information provided is false it would disqualify me as a candidate and that my membership with the Freedom Front Plus will immediately be terminated.
   
   
4. I also consent that the information provided herein may be verified and I give permission that the Freedom Front Plus may check my credit record, any debt judgments and criminal record.
   
   
5. I voluntarily submit myself to the screening process of the Freedom Front Plus.
