Thank you for your interest in applying to Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School! Located in the Titusville community of Birmingham, Alabama, Holy Family Cristo Rey (HFCR) is an independent, Catholic school committed to providing students with a college preparatory education and real-world work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).
Our mission is to equip our scholars with the tools necessary for entering and completing college while providing a supportive and encouraging environment for scholars to reach their educational and personal best! It is important that prospective students possess a desire to attend college as that will help to ensure they take full advantage of their time here and their high school efforts will support their future goals.
This application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
We recommend having the following documents available as you complete this application:
1. Student's birth certificate
2. Student's social security card
3. Unexpired immunization record
4. Most recent report card
5. Final report card OR official transcript (once available)
6. Proof of income (most recent tax return, social security proof, disability letter, or employer letter)
7. Proof of residency (state driver’s license OR utility bill – must be water or power)
8. Student photo (must be taken within the last year; can be emailed to Admissions OR taken at the school during student interview visit)
Early Enrollment Deadline to submit an application is December 12th, 2025. Families that submit an application by December 12th, 2025, will be eligible for free tuition for the 1st semester of the 2026-2027 school year.
Transfers: Holy Family Cristo Rey's academic and Corporate Work Study Program is based on the assumption that students will attend HFCR for all four years, and so our priority is admitting students to the freshman class. However, we will consider applications for students entering the 10th-12th grade on a limited basis.
