Application deadline is April 15, 2026
1. Please enclose a brief autobiography including a description of the development of your interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We invite you to share a brief narrative introduction to help us get to know you and your evolving interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Please don’t feel pressured to provide a formal or exhaustive life history; instead, think of this as an opportunity to share the "why" behind your clinical and intellectual journey. Whether it was a particular text, a clinical encounter, or a long-standing curiosity about the unconscious, we simply want to understand the unique perspective you bring to this training. While 1–2 paragraphs often work well, please feel free to share more if you feel it helps us understand your perspective better.
2. Add any additional information which you feel would be helpful in evaluating your suitability for psychoanalytic psychotherapy training.
3. Include any information you wish regarding personal supervision in conducting psychotherapy detailing the nature of the supervision or educational experience with the name(s) of supervisors or instructors and the dates and nature of the experience.
NOPBC does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, sexual orientation, creed, religion or ethnic origin.
The faculty of NOBPC will be notified of your application and requested to provide information which may assist the Selection Committee in assessing your suitability for psychoanalytic psychotherapy training.
A minimum of one interview is required for admission. The interview may be conducted by tele-video for non-local applicants.
