Below is an application for all interested participants, allowing us to get to know you and to discern whether this grief ritual is a mutual fit.
We anticipate that this ritual will fill quickly and that we may receive more than twice the number of applications than available spaces. Please know that this application process—and our response—are not reflections of your worthiness.
We are intentionally curating a group that holds a diversity of lived experiences and grief expressions. If you are not invited to join this ritual, it is not because you are unworthy—your worth is inherent and unquestioned. If we are unable to say yes this time, we sincerely hope to gather with you in a future grief ritual. Thank you for your understanding and for the care you bring in applying.
We aim to respond to all applicants within three weeks of receiving their application.
Please note that the cost for this four-day ritual is USD $695. Meals and lodging are not included; participants are responsible for organizing and covering these costs independently. Submitting an application does not guarantee registration. We kindly ask that you wait to receive a formal invitation and complete your registration before making any travel or accommodation arrangements.
Accepted participants will be invited into an online space to connect with one another. In past gatherings, this space has supported ride-sharing, shared accommodations, and informal meal planning. In addition, we will host two Zoom calls: one prior to the ritual to support connection and orientation, and one several weeks afterward as an integration gathering.
