“A Trip Through Space with Ellie the Explorer”

One bright morning, Ellie the Explorer looked up at the sky and smiled. She loved learning about space!
“The Sun is a star,” she said to her dog, Rocket. “It puts out heat and light, which help keep us warm and help plants grow!”
Ellie twirled around in a circle. “Did you know the Earth is a planet? It spins all the way around once every 24 hours. That’s what makes day and night!”
She pointed up to the sky. “The Earth goes around the Sun in about one year. That’s how we get the seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter!”
Then she looked up at the Moon. “And guess what else? The Moon goes around the Earth in about one month. That’s why the Moon looks different every few days!”
Rocket barked in agreement, and Ellie giggled. “Space is so cool! Let’s keep exploring!”
