This grant application is made available for undergraduate and graduate students to attend the Urbana 25 conference in Phoenix, Arizona from December 28th, 2025 through Midnight New Year's Eve 2026. This grant application is intended to assist students who want to attend Urbana and are looking for financial support.
There are two specific grants that support student attendance at Urbana 25. The Torrey M. Johnson Grant and the Life with God Together Mini-Grant. Students only need to submit one grant application. Grant awards will be up to $250 and will be given to those who complete the requirements on a first come basis.
In order to qualify, students must complete the the following items:
1. Complete the Wheaton Urbana Registration form.
2. Submit your $250 deposit on Marketplace.
3. Send a fundraising appeal to 25 friends, family members, and your local church.
4. Agree to attend all Urbana 25 orientation sessions (Thursday 10/16 from 10:30-11:00am, Tuesday 11/18 from 10:30-11:00am, and Monday 12/15 from 9:00-10:00am in Phelps)
5. Agree to submit a one page reflection on your Urbana experience by January 14th. Details on this submission will be sent to selected students.
Grants will be awarded and distributed upon the completion of the last orientation session.
