The SALEF CD11 Community Rental Assistance Program was created to provide urgent support for families in Council District 11 who have been economically impacted by the recent immigration enforcement actions in our neighborhoods.
We recognize that these events have created tremendous fear, instability, and financial hardship particularly for immigrant families and mixed-status households who are part of the fabric of our community. This program is designed to help families cover rental expenses so that they can remain safely housed while recovering from the unexpected challenges caused by the raids.
In order to be eligibile for this program applicants MUST:
Reside within Council District 11 and have experienced economic hardship as a direct or indirect result of the recent ICE enforcement actions.
Additional documentation will be requested at the time of applying
We understand that many immigrant families may feel hesitant to seek assistance. Please know that your information will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of this program.
Our priority is ensuring that families regardless of background or immigration status can remain secure in their homes and continue to thrive in our community.
Together, we are building pathways of support so that no family faces this crisis alone.
