Welcome to Rodi Haus E-Bike Demo Hire 

Before you take one of our bikes for a spin, please read this agreement carefully.
It contains important information about safety, equipment use, and your responsibilities while the bike is in your possession.

By signing below, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood the waiver and conditions of hire/demo.
• You are physically capable of safely riding the e-bike.
• You will wear an Australian Standard-approved helmet at all times.
• You accept full responsibility for the bike and any equipment while in your possession.

If you have any questions about the bike, equipment, route, or safety requirements, please ask our staff before signing.

1. Safety & Equipment Compliance

I understand and agree that:

• I will wear an Australian Standard (AS/NZS 2063) approved helmet at all times while riding.
• I will use the e-bike and any supplied accessories (including child seats) only for their intended purpose and in a safe manner.
• I will follow all road rules and local regulations applicable to cyclists in Western Australia.
• I have been provided with a pre-hire safety briefing and instructions for safe operation.

2. Skill & Health Declaration

I confirm that:

• I am competent and able to ride a bicycle safely.
• I am in good physical health, with no medical conditions that would impair my ability to ride.
• I am not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair my ability to ride safely.

3. Condition of Equipment

• I have inspected the e-bike and any supplied accessories and confirm they are in good working order.
• Any existing damage or defects have been noted with Rodi Haus staff before hire/demo.

4. Responsibility for Damage or Loss

• I accept full responsibility for the e-bike and all equipment from the time it is handed over to me until it is returned to Rodi Haus staff.
• I will return the e-bike and all equipment in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear.
• I am liable for the cost of repair or replacement if the e-bike or any equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged while in my possession.

5. Assumption of Risk

• I acknowledge that riding an e-bike involves inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, falls, mechanical failure, and environmental hazards.
• I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the e-bike and related equipment.

6. Release & Indemnity

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge Rodi Haus, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or other loss arising from my use of the e-bike and equipment, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
• I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rodi Haus from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my actions while using the e-bike and equipment.

7. Records & Acknowledgement

• I acknowledge that this signed waiver will be retained by Rodi Haus for at least seven (7) years in accordance with insurance requirements.
• I have read and understood this waiver, and I agree to abide by its terms.
