Event Hire Form

Option 1: DIY Hire

Customer is responsible for picking up the product from our location the day before the event between agreed-upon times.

Customer is responsible for returning the product to our location the day after the event between agreed-upon times. Please note that this hire period is considered a 1-day hire, and returning the product outside of the agreed-upon times may incur additional charges.

A small refundable deposit will be added to the hire fee, which will be refunded in full if the product is returned on time and in good condition.

If the product is returned late or damaged, the deposit will be non-refundable.

Option 2: Hire and Delivery

Same terms as Option 1, with the addition of delivery to the customer's selected destination (must be within the highlighted delivery areas displayed on the provided map in images an extra surcharge for areas outside of this. Please make contact before purchase if this is something you require.

Customer is still responsible for returning the product to our location the day after the event between agreed-upon times (1-day hire)

Delivery address and time must be within the designated drop-off parameters on Map provided or if outside the area this must be confirmed prior to the event.

Option 3: Hire, Delivery, Set Up, and Pack Down

Same terms as Option 1, with the addition of delivery, set up, and pack down services.

Our team will deliver, set up, and pack down the product at the agreed-upon times.

Customer is responsible for ensuring the event venue is accessible and safe for our team to set up and pack down the product.

Important Information

• A small refundable deposit will be added to your hire fee.
• The deposit will be refunded in full if items are returned on time and in good condition.
• Deposits are forfeited if products are returned late, damaged, or not in the same condition as collected.

1. Booking & Payments
A 50% deposit (including the bond) is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event date.
If your booking is made within 2 weeks of the event, full payment is required upfront.
All payments must be made via PayPal for your security and ours.

2. Bond (Refundable Deposit)
The bond amount is determined by the type and quantity of products hired.
The bond will be quoted in your personalised hire proposal.
Bonds are fully refundable if items are returned on time, undamaged, and in good condition.
If items are returned late or damaged, the bond will be forfeited.
If items are lost or not returned, you will be charged the replacement cost, which is double the hire fee.

3. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will receive a refund.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in 20% of the hire cost being forfeited.

4. Hire Period
The hire period is based on the pickup date, event date, and drop-off date confirmed at the time of booking.
A 1-day hire includes event day only (pickup is the day before, return the day after, unless otherwise agreed).
Late returns may incur additional charges.

5. Delivery & Collection
Delivery is available within our standard zones for the set delivery cost.
Delivery charges apply outside designated areas and must be confirmed before booking.
For DIY hire, customers are responsible for collecting and returning items at the agreed times.

6. Product Care & Responsibility
Customers must take all reasonable care of hired items.
Props may be used outdoors only in suitable weather conditions.
Customers are responsible for any damage caused by weather (e.g., rain, wind, or exposure to water).
Any items damaged, lost, or not returned will be charged as per the bond/replacement terms above.

7. Photos & Promotion
By hiring from Some.d, you agree that we may use event setup photos for promotional purposes on our website and social media.
If you prefer not to be tagged in social media posts, you must notify us in writing at least 7 days before your event.

8. Agreement
