Leona partners with Katebackdrop, an international backdrop company, to test and showcase their newest designs. As part of this partnership, Leona provides Katebackdrop with finished images and behind-the-scenes video footage, which may be featured in their worldwide marketing campaigns. 

Please note: once submitted to Katebackdrop, the images and video cannot be withdrawn. Model Calls are best for those who are confident in front of the camera and comfortable with minimal retouching.

To make this possible, Leona offers Model Call Sessions at 50% off.

By booking a Model Call, the client agrees to:

• Be photographed with a brand-new backdrop under Leona's creative direction, giving her full discretion to choose which images and video clips are used and how they are edited.
• Sign a model release, granting both Leona, Katebackdrop and other brands and publisheers the right to use the clients photos and behind-the-scenes content for marketing.
• Accept two Instagram collaboration requests (one reel and one image post).
• Share the content across all of their social media platforms once it is posted.

Limited Availability: Only 2 model call spots are available for each backdrop.

Liability: Participation is voluntary and at the clients own risk. Vertigo Productions Photography Studio and Leona Oates are not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse health effects.

Sign-Up: Spots are reserved only once full payment is received and allocations are on a first-pay, first-served basis.

Payment: Full payment via email money transfer is required to book a model call.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: All sign-ups are final. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. This is an urgent project that requires timely completion; cancellations waste studio time and delay the project, costing time and money.

Tardiness: Clients arriving more than 29 minutes late for their appointment forfeit their sign up fee and are considered a no show. Your appointment time cannot be extended at the last minute. The studio is very expensive to operate so please be respectful of both the studio time and Leona's time.

Snacks & Drinks: Clients are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks if desired.

Scent-Free Zone: Please avoid wearing body spray, cologne, perfume or body oil on the day of the shoot.

Wardrobe: No lewd or nude costumes, as these images are for branding purposes. Clients may bring their your own wardrobe or explore options from the client closet. 5–10 minutes before shooting will be used to finalize wardrobe choice.

Hair, Nails & Makeup: Arrive camera-ready. No time is scheduled for beauty prep during the session, only wardrobe adjustments will be made before shooting. Hair, nails, and makeup must be clean, styled, and polished but rofessional services are not required.

Skin: Avoid anything tight fitting on the body, a loose dress and flips works great. Wrinkles, indents or marks left by clothing will not be edited out. 

Modeling Prep: Leona will guide clients through posing, movement, and expression. However, it’s important to be mindful of your facial expressions. Please practice in the mirror ahead of time to feel more comfortable.

Behind-the-Scenes: No photos or videos may be taken in the studio during the session by anyone other than Leona.

Turnaround Time: Final images will be delivered within 2 weeks.

Image Selection: For model calls, image and video selection is at Leona’s discretion. Unlike regular sessions, model call clients do not choose which images are included. There is also no option to purchase additional images, so please select your package with this in mind.

Model Release: Leona may use the images you choose to receive with your package for promotional and commercial purposes, including international marketing for Kate Backdrops and other affiliated brands, with no time limit.

Social Media: All model call clients absolutely agree to accept two Instagram collaboration requests (one reel and one image post) and agree to share the content across all of their social media platforms once it has been posted.

Changing Your Mind / Contract Opt-Out:
Once the images are ready to be released Leona will show the client, if, after seeing the images, the client decides that they no longer want to participate in the Model Call, they may back out of the contract by paying the difference equivalent to the Model Call savings (50% of the full session price). If the client changes their mind about ANY of the requirements after the shoot is complete, the saved amount must be paid immediately to release the client from this Model Call agreement.

Image Storage: Vertigo Productions Photography does not guarantee permanent storage of your images. Please download and back up your final gallery promptly once delivered.

Copyright License: Delivered images are high-resolution digital files. You receive personal-use rights to print and share your final delivered images. Editing, altering, or applying filters to any image is not permitted by anyone other than Leona.

Attribution: Completed images are not watermarked; in exchange, clients agree to tag / credit Vertigo Productions when posting images on social media.
