Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support the data entry and analyzing of the Wash in Nut pilot project surveys done in the communities. The primary objective is to provide practical analytical feedback on the data submitted by field teams, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying trends from the household surveys collected. In addition, the intern, shall assist in analyzing trends from the surveys collected and from the epidemiological data collected in the project. This role will offer exposure to both project monitoring and public health data analysis, with a particular focus on identifying key insights from both community and medical data.
This position will be hierarchically and functionally accountable to the Watsan Mobile Support Technician following DRC, with punctual support from the Epidemiology Advisor in MSF.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry (digitalize household surveys / monitoring sheets – collected in the field in French)
- Revise data entry to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze the data to identify trends and patterns in the collected data from household surveys
- Analyze trends in medical data and assist with drawing conclusions.
- Prepare a report of the conclusions in the collected and analyzed data.
Requirements:
- French Speaker is a must (as the surveys are in French)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- A background of Data analytics, Epidemiology and/or Public Health
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
